The Church of the Higher Mind is the primary religious order of the Cloud Ocean. The hierarchy of the Church (High Priestess Prayana, The Successor, Arch-Priests, High Archivists, Archivists, Novices) is generally seen as an intellectual meritocracy, although higher positions are very political in nature. Members of the Church can be identified by their cybernetic right arms which they receive when they become Archivists, or by their cybernetic left eyes when they join the Order of the Eye.
