From the flock of Initiates who were not intellectually worthy to become Archivists, the Order of the Eye was born; a zealous, paramilitary faction of the Church of the Higher Mind under the direct command of High Priestess Prayana herself. Initiates who commit to the Order complete their transition by having their left eye removed and replaced with cybernetic implants that wire them into the Church's main control and monitoring systems, thus giving them their ominous name.
