The Archive Enclave is a medium-sized tower city complex located 150 leagues from Sky Island, the capital city of the Cloud Ocean, with a population of just over 10,000 people, most of whom live and work in service of the Archive itself. The immense importance of the Archive to the Church and society at large necessitates a highly regimented urban culture, even among the non-clerical public. In spite of that, however, life at the Enclave is fairly relaxed, especially in the residential and trade quarters.
